People’s Bank recognises staff completing 25 and 40 years dedicated service

People’s Bank recently organised a felicitation ceremony to recognise and felicitate long-serving employees of the bank in the presence of its senior management and fellow colleagues. Titled ’25 Years of Service’, the event was graced by People’s Bank Chairperson Sujatha Cooray and Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar. Gold Souvenirs were awarded to 761 staff members who completed 25 years of service to the Bank. To make the occasion even more meaningful, further special endowments were gifted to 38 employees who completed 40 years of service to the Bank, which is a very rare privilege.

The customer-centric nature of the Bank staff has played a pivotal role in garnering a large loyal customer base. People’s Bank offers a challenging career and growth prospects for its employees, supported by constant training and skills enhancement programs. The loyal, dedicated and single-minded devotion demonstrated by long-serving staff who were felicitated at the occasion have been instrumental in the Bank’s today’s success.
