New Chairman at Vallibel Finance

R.M. Karunaratne has been appointed as the Chairman of Vallibel Finance Plc with effect from 16 July.

He joined the Board of Vallibel Finance PLC on 30 April 2013 and until the recent appointment he was the Acting Chairman.

He received his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, specialising in Estate Management and Valuation. 

After his graduation in 1977, he joined the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) in 1978 and during the period 2008 to 2011, having served in various departments, rose to the position of Executive Director – Monitoring.

The Board of Vallibel Finance Plc comprises of R.M. Karunaratne, S.B. Rangamuwa (Managing Director/CEO), K.D.D. Perera, T. Murakami, K.D.A. Perera, A. Ddadigama, H. Ota, S.S. Weerabahu and J. Kumarasinghe.
