NDB wins 3 Gold and 2 Bronze at NASCO 2019

NDB Bank was once again in the spotlight at the SLIM NASCO Awards 2019 for winning the Gold for the Best Sales Executive of the Year award, in addition to two other gold awards and two bronze awards.

Accordingly, NDB’s Ashane Fernando clinched two Gold awards, including the coveted “Sales Executive of the Year” award as well as the Gold award under “Sales Executive - Supervisor” banking category at the Grand Gala Awards Night 2019. 

Meanwhile, Juliana Stephanie won the Gold Award under “Other Sales Support Staff - Non Executive” banking category, and Enock Mendis won the Bronze Award under “Front-liner” banking category, while Kasun Jayawardane won the Bronze award under “Sales Executive - Supervisor” banking category.

Commenting on these awards, Senior Vice President (Personal Banking and Branch Network Management) Sanjaya Perera said that these awards were a testimony to the excellence and professionalism seen within NDB’s sales staff.

SLIM NASCO Awards 2019 recognised and rewarded the nation’s top sales forces and most outstanding sales performers for the 19th consecutive year. National Sales Congress (NASCO) organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) is a national level event held annually to evaluate and recognise sales personnel for their dynamism. Top performers are recognised and conferred with awards and accolades to encourage and motivate the country’s sales fraternity. NASCO is the only national level awards ceremony which recognises sales personnel among a wide range of industries.
