Lankaputhra Development Bank begins transactions for Sinhala and Tamil New Year

LDB commencing transactions for the Sinhala and Hindu New Year, while Chairman of the bank Ruwan Gallage, General Manager/CEO Ranjith Dissanayake and working director of the bank Thuan Riza Hameet are also present

 

The Lankaputhra Development Bank commenced its transactions for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year at the auspicious time. Chairman of the bank Ruwan Gallage and officials of senior management including working director of the bank Thuan Riza Hameet and General Manager/CEO Ranjith Dissanayake and a large number of customers were present at the occasion. 

Lankapauthra Development Bank has introduced a special gift offer for its customers this new year. An attractive gift scheme is effective available on the amount you save. This special gift offer is valid from 16 April to 16 June this year for a period of two months.

Expressing views, at the commencement of business activities for the New Year, Chairman Ruwan Gallage said according to current reports the LDB has marked the maximum progress in its history during the last year. He stressed that entire staff of the bank should be committed to provide efficient service to its customers. 

General Manager/CEO of the bank Ranjith Dissanayake said that all should work hard with commitment to ensure advancement of the bank at all time. It is the responsibility of the staff to give priority to customer needs as a bank that is committed for development. Thanking the loyal customers of the bank, Dissanayaka wished a happy and prosperous Sinhala and Tamil new year for all. The LDB is implementing loan schemes namely “Run aswenna”, “Rivi Bala Savi”, “Jaya Isura” and “Green” which have been introduced by the Ministry of Finance. Under these loan schemes entrepreneurs are able to obtain loans at lower interest rates.

The LDB has opened and are maintaining branches in Colombo, Hambantota, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Kegalle, Wennappuwa, Batticaloa and Trincomalee areas at present. These branches are rendering a unique service to the small and medium scale entrepreneurs (SMEs) in these areas.
