Ernst & Young, the pioneer in post-budget foras, held its 17th such annual event recently at the Hilton Colombo with Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera attending as the Chief Guest and Development Strategies and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrama serving as the Guest of Honour. Apart from the keynote speech of Minister Samaraweera, the event saw a presentation on Budget 2018 by Ernst & Young (Head of Tax) Duminda Hulangamuwa as well as a panel discussion involving Minister Samarawickrama, Deputy Secretary to the Treasury S.R. Attygalle, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Finance Mano Tittawela and the Chairman of the Public-Private Partnership Unit of the Ministry of Finance Tilan Wijesinghe
