Dileepa Wijesundera joins Amãna Takaful Life Board

Former Sri Lanka Telecom Group CEO Dileepa Wijesundera has been appointed to the Board of Amãna Takaful Life PLC, as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Wijesundera is an engineer with extensive experience in project logistics, profitability and restructuring, at both private and Government institutions. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering, and an MSc in Management, from Loughborough University, UK. He has held leadership positions in several prestigious organisations, including as Head of Emirates Sky Cargo, Canada, Senior Vice President Qatar Airways, and Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority amongst others. He also served as Sri Lanka Telecom Group CEO.

With the appointment, the Board of Directors of Amãna Takaful Life PLC comprises of Dato M. F. B. Yusof (Acting Chairman), I. A. Ismail, M. H. M. Rafiq, R. Gopinath, A. S. Kassim, M. F. Ghaffoor, M. R. M. Nayeem and D. A. Wijesundera
