DFCC digital banking services
Through its digital banking channels, DFCC Bank facilitates not only convenience for customers but dedicates itself to provide superior customer service of its multi-faceted products and services on offer. DFCC Virtual Wallet and DFCC Online Banking bring you the convenience of conducting regular financial transactions such as Fund Transfers and Utility bill payments in the safety of your home.
As per the central bank directives, now customers can open and activate these facilities online without stepping to a branch to do KYC verifications. Additionally, by using DFCC Pay App, customers can conduct payments through VISA QR, LANKA QR, Just Pay and POS Machines which are enabled for processing QR payments. This provides the experience of the contactless transaction to the customer which is a most important fact due to the current situation of the country.
DFCC Bank on Wheels Service
In the operation of controlling the COVID-19 outbreak by the Government of Sri Lanka, the public has been instructed to stay indoors. Understanding the requirement of withdrawing cash during this trying time, DFCC Bank launched ‘Bank on Wheels Service’ recently to visit customers’ doorstep to provide cash withdrawals and check bank balance services without stepping to a branch and encouraging them to stay at home.
All DFCC bank customers along with other bank customers can access this service by using their VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and JCB debit cards issued by local banks to withdraw up to Rs. 150,000. The Bank on Wheels service were available at selected locations in Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Modara, Moratuwa, Nawala, Malabe, Mattegoda, Narahenpita, Pannipitiya, Kotahena and will be available in Western Province in coming days.
Branch operations
As per the Central Bank directive, the selected branches of DFCC Bank will remain open in order to provide counter transactions from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in curfew areas. However, DFCC Bank has taken necessary actions to implement safety measures to protect the customers who visit the branch to conduct their financial transactions. Gloves and face masks are being used by all staff members including security officials while hand sanitisers and washbasins are fixed inside the branch and the ATM premises respectively for customers to maintain their wellbeing. The regular cleaning of mostly touched surfaces, elevators, ATM machines with disinfectants also is in process in order to maintain good hygiene practices at the workplace.
Financial concessions due to COVID-19
Further, DFCC Bank has taken a necessary action to grant financial concessions for its valuable clients affected by COVID-19 pandemic based on the Central Bank directives and the relief guidelines issued by the Sri Lankan Government. Customers could avail these privileges by submitting a letter of request on or before 30 April and further information can be obtained through DFCC Bank 24/7 Contact Centre on 0112 35 00 00.
