ComBank opens 266th branch in Embuldeniya

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has opened its newest branch in the bustling suburb of Embuldeniya in Nugegoda, ending 2018 with 266 branches, the largest branch network operated by a private bank in Sri Lanka.

Embuldeniya is a centre of economic activity in the Western Province with flourishing businesses in fabrics, agricultural produce, vehicle spare parts and other trading activities. The Bank will be providing its versatile products range most importantly its lending products that comprise of personal loans, home loans, leasing facilities, SME banking services and the diverse savings product portfolio to its residents and upcoming entrepreneurs. 

Commercial Bank Chairman Dharma Dheerasinghe was the Chief Guest at the opening of the new branch.

This branch located at No. 19 A, Madiwela Road, Embuldeniya, is a fully-fledged branch operating an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM), a Cheque Deposit Machine and a Digital Panel to offer digital services to customers 24 hours of the day. With the opening of this branch, Commercial Bank’s network of ATMs in Sri Lanka has grown to 830 terminals.
