The Commercial Bank has opened its latest branch in Sri Lanka at Teldeniya, taking the largest network of branches owned by a private bank in Sri Lanka to 265 in total. This branch will further strengthen the Bank’s presence in Kandy and offer residents and people passing through access to the comprehensive services provided by a fully-fledged branch.
The new branch, located at No. 76 and No. 76/1 Kandy Road, Teldeniya was ceremonially declared open by Commercial Bank Deputy Chairman Preethi Jayawardena on 28 December.
Teldeniya is a centre of economic activity in the Central Province with its abundant agricultural produce and natural resources. The Bank will be providing its versatile product range, most importantly its agriculture-based products such as Divisaru Savings Account, Diribala Loans Scheme and leasing facilities to residents and upcoming entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs in the area will benefit from the Bank’s unique “Biz Club”, which is a platform for entrepreneurs to exchange business ideas with their contemporaries.
The new branch offers 24-hour services via an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) and a Digital Panel to enable customers to access digital services outside the traditional banking hours.
