‘Chain Plus: Asia-Pacific Blockchain New Finance Summit’ held in Singapore

The Chain Plus: Asia-Pacific Blockchain New Finance Summit was recently held at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore. The Summit was organised by Shanghai-based The Blockchainer and Singapore Fintech Association (SFA). The Fintech Association of Sri Lanka (FASL) was a Supporter Institution.

Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Assistant Governor R. A. Ananda Jayalath delivered the keynote speech, titled “Blockchain Technology and RegTech”.

FASL President Rajkumar Kanagasingam moderated a panel discussion, titled “The Challenge, Opportunity and Solution of STO”.Advisor to the Japan Asia Investment Company Ltd. Dr. Tissa Jayaweera was a panellist at the discussion, “Will Blockchain Change Payment Market Pattern Within Ten Years?”

Chain Plus has been successfully held in New York, Silicon Valley, Berlin, Switzerland, Shanghai, and Seoul in the past.

Chain Plus Singapore was the first summit that has chosen a highly-relevant theme, “New Finance”, and brought in over 500 participants internationally.
