Cargills Bank partners with Crosspay to strengthen remittance services

Cargills Bank partnered with Crosspay, a new generation money transfer service provider to enhance and strengthen the remittance services offered by the bank. 

The partnership is set to cash in on the growing demand for instant, digital remittances among the Sri Lankans living abroad, especially for Sri Lankans living in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Beneficiaries have the options of both direct account credit to Cargills Bank and other Banks or cash pickup from Cargills Bank branches or Cargills Food City outlets open island wide from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., 365 days of the year.

We are confident that this partnership would support the Sri Lankan diaspora and their recipients with a wider choice of partners and collection points.”

“Beneficiaries particularly in the rural and remote regions would benefit from our service as it enables to collect cash remittance simply from the nearby Cargills Food City outlet. The augmented offering of 5% discount on the Cargills Food City bill when they collect cash remittance from any Cargills Food City outlet will no doubt add value to regular shoppers,” he added.
