Cargills Bank opens its newest branch in Fort

Cargills Bank ceremonially opened its newest branch in the central business city of Colombo, Fort, at the Cargills Building, No. 40, York Street, Colombo 1, as part of the bank’s expansion strategy. 

The new branch was declared open by the Chief Guest Cargills Bank Ltd. Chairman Ranjith Page in the presence of Cargills Bank Ltd. Managing Director/CEO Rajendra Theagarajah, Cargills (Ceylon) PLC Managing Director Imtiaz Wahid, Cargills Bank Ltd. Executive Director Prabhu Mathavan, Cargills Bank Ltd. COO Rohan Muttiah, Cargills Bank Ltd. AGM (Retail Business) Buddhika Perera and Cargills Bank Fort Branch Manager Nadeera Godamunne.

Whilst the opening of this branch gradually increases our network, we intend to focus and leverage on the concept of ‘Supermarket Banking’ by strengthening accessibility at 400 Cargills Food City outlets island-wide,” said Cargills Bank Ltd. MD/CEO Rajendra Theagarajah.
