Commercial Bank and Dialog Axiata engages local investors at CSE-CSBA Listed Company Feature event

The third event of the ‘Listed Company Feature Series’, organised by the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) in association with the Colombo Stock Brokers Association (CSBA), was organised recently and featured Commercial Bank of Ceylon Plc and Dialog Axiata Plc. 

This unique series brings together S&P SL 20 companies and local institutional and high net-worth Investors for investment case-driven discussions and offers investors an opportunity to engage with leaders of listed companies.  

Director/Group Chief Executive Officer Supun Weerasinghe presented the investment case of Dialog Axiata Plc at the event while Commercial Bank of Ceylon Plc Chief Financial Officer Nandika Buddhipala engaged investors on the investment case for the bank.

With the objective of offering valuable perspective to the audience, Research Heads of CSBA Member Firms moderate a Q&A session on each featured company to bring out the relevant areas of interest that may assist investors to gain a deeper understanding of the company and its growth potential. 

The Dialog Axiata segment was moderated by Asia Securities Head of Research, Kavinda Perera, while the Commercial Bank segment was moderated by Softlogic Capital Senior Manager Research, Anjula Nawarathna.

As a first in the series, the event also featured a presentation on the overall market and the economy at present, which was conducted by Associate Directors at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services Qadhir Sheriff and Rathnakala Kumaragurunathan. 

The series aims to create a platform for listed companies to build stronger investor relations and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing investment-related awareness on the company among local institutional and high net-worth investors, who collectively make a substantial contribution to market turnover in the Sri Lankan stock market.
