The Conference and Seminars Committee and the Taxation Committee of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) will conduct another knowledge sharing Continuing Professional Development virtual webinar on ‘Finance Act No. 18 of 2021 – (Granting Tax Amnesties)’ today, 23 September, from 6-8 p.m. via Zoom.
The welcome address will be delivered by CMA Sri Lanka Founder President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala. The presentation on ‘Finance Act No. 18 of 2021 – (Granting Tax Amnesties)’ will be delivered by Ranaweera Associates Managing Partner Athula Ranaweera.
The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Ernst & Young Partner and Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Vice Chairman Duminda Hulangamuwa comprising three eminent panelists – Gajma & Co. Senior Partner N.R. Gajendran, Nithya Partners Partner Naomal Goonewardena and Ministry of Finance Tax Advisor Priyanka Dissabandara.
CMA Sri Lanka Vice President and SAFA Vice President Hennayaka Bandara will deliver the vote of thanks and Taxation Committee Chairman Puvendran Gajendra will participate.
The webinar will conclude with a question and answer session where participants will also have an opportunity to discuss practical applications and obtain clarifications via chat option.
