The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA Sri Lanka), the national professional management accounting institution in the country signed a Memorandum of Understanding with National Development Bank PLC (NDB) to issue an exclusive affinity credit card for the members of the Institute at a function held at the CMA headquarters recently
The MoU sets out NDB to issue Visa International affinity credit card bearing the logo of CMA for the use, benefit and convenience of its members. The affinity cards issued under this agreement shall be standard Visa which are internationally valid cards and shall be subject to the appropriate Visa regulations. Any Visa promotional material provided by the Bank shall be posted to its members by the CMA together with its members’ newsletters or at their websites as applicable. The agreement was signed at the CMA headquarters in Colombo, Sri Lanka in March.
The affinity card was officially launched at a function held to celebrate 20 years for the CMA Institute and the admission of new members at the Taj Samudra hotel on 9 April. Speaking at the function, NDB Senior Vice President Personal Banking and Branch Network Management Sanjaya Perera thanked the Institute for partnering with NDB to issue its signature Good Life Credit cards which offer superior deals, exceptional offers and enviable advantages.
Ruchira Perera, Council Member of CMA Sri Lanka and the Chairman of the Members Committee thanked the Council for taking this initiative for the benefit of its members and invited all members including the members who were admitted to CMA membership through the Direct Pathway to apply for the card to enjoy the many benefits the card offers. He also thanked the NDB Bank and its officials for the support extended to issue the card.
NDB Bank AVP Cards Zeyan Hameed was also present at the function.
