The Annual Budget Seminar organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) will be held on Saturday, 11 November at 9.00 a.m. at the Colombo Hilton.
The budget seminar, organised annually by the institute, is one of the most sought after events with a large number of chartered accountants as well as students attending the event, which also includes a panel session comprising subject experts representing various sectors, who will share their views on the Coalition Government’s Budget for next year.
This year the panel session will bring together Lasantha Wickremasinghe - President of CA Sri Lanka; RajendraTheagarajah - Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce; Mangala Yapa from the Ministry of Development Strategies and International Trade; Ivan Dissanayake - Commissioner General of Inland Revenue; Dhammika Gunathilaka - Deputy Commissioner General of Inland Revenue and N.R. Gajendran - member of the CA Sri Lanka Council and Faculty of Taxation.
The moderator of the panel session will be Faculty of Taxation Chairman Duminda Hulangamuwa, while the budget highlights will be delivered by the alternate chairperson of the faculty Shamila Jayasekara.
