Encouraging Sri Lankan expatriates to remit their hard earned money securely back to their families whilst assisting to improve the country’s foreign remittance inflow, BOC’s ‘Pita Pita Rata Thegi 2’ raffle draw was held at the bank’s Head Office recently, to give away valuable prizes at its provincial draw.
Winners of this raffle draw will be given 10 scooters and 50 gift vouchers each worth Rs. 50,000 at this province level draw. The event was held with the patronage of the bank’s CEO/General Manager Senarath Bandara amidst of a gathering of the bank’s Corporate and Executive management, other officials and invitees. The event was organised by the bank’s International Division, headed by the Senior Deputy General Manager – International Treasury and Investment Sugath Gunasekera.
Winners for this ‘Pita Pita Rata Thegi 2’ provincial draw were chosen among customers who have remitted funds at least in three occasions during the time period of 1 September 2019 to 31 December 2019. The islandwide grand draw or the final draw will be considering customers who have sent a minimum of five inward remittances during the time period of 1 September 2019 to 31 March.
As for the Grand Draw, the bank will offer a brand new Toyota Wigo as the first prize and 50 gift vouchers each worth Rs. 50,000. Through promotions of this nature, the bank aims to promote inward remittances to be received through a proper fund transfer channels, which is secured, reliable and assists growth of the national economy.
