1,352 winners selected from BOC Mega Waasi 3Q draw

Sri Lanka’s No. 1 bank, Bank of Ceylon takes pride in offering prizes to 1,352 winners of the third quarter BOC Mega Waasi draw held on 23 December 2013.  The draw was held with the patronage of the Chairman of Bank of Ceylon, President’s Counsel Razik Zarook, General Manager D.M. Gunasekara and the members of the corporate and executive management of BOC. Bank of Ceylon customers who maintained a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000 in their savings or personal current accounts from 1 August to 30 November 2013 were eligible for this draw. There were two lucky millionaires, 20 lucky winners of Rs. 100,000 each and 1,300 winners of Rs. 10,000 each and 30 lucky winners from Kantha Ran Ginum who were selected for a Bangkok tour. BOC Mega Waasi prizes are worth of Rs. 84 million. Customers could maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000 in any savings or personal current account for a continuous period of four months or by opening a new account at any BOC branch and maintain the required balance to be eligible for the final draw which will be held in April 2014. BOC regular savings, Ran Kekulu, 14 Plus, 18 Plus, Kantha Ran Ginum, Senior Citizens, Ran Govi Thanpathu, Ranaviru Ginum and Personal current accounts are eligible for Mega Waasi final draw. By maintaining multiples of Rs. 10,000 in those accounts customers can increase their chances of winning exciting prizes being offered such as a Luxury Kyron Jeep, 10 Panda Cross motor cars and many more cash prizes and Bangkok tours for Kantha Ran Ginum accountholders by maintaining multiples of Rs. 10,000 in those respective accounts. Bank of Ceylon was awarded Asia’s Best Brand award 2013 by the Chief Marketing Officer’s Council (CMO Council) based in Mumbai, India. The Bank of Ceylon won a hat-trick for the second consecutive year at the National Business Excellence awards ceremony organized by NCCSL in 2013. Bank of Ceylon is the only Sri Lankan Bank with International presence in London, Male, Chennai and soon to be expanded to include Seychelles.
