AIA Insurance (earlier known as AVIVA NDB Insurance) reaffirmed its commitment to policyholders by conducting a lucky draw to choose 100 policyholders and award laptops under the company’s innovative initiative ‘Rewards for life’ scheme for children of loyal customers once again. This is a show of trust and appreciation towards the longstanding commitment they have for the company.
The scheme, entitles customers who have been with the company for more than three years to participate in the lucky draw and win a laptop. ‘Rewards for life’ was launched in 2011 and this is the second time that 100 laptops will be presented.
This year the number of applicants for the draw had doubled demonstrating the enthusiasm of the customers and their children. Policyholders who have children aged 14 to 22 years and have an active life policy in the company for more than three years were entitled to apply and participate in the lucky draw, and thousands applied.
AIA Insurance Managing Director, Shah Rouf selected the first batch of winners. Independent officials who were formally present to witness the draw were Provincial Commissioner of Revenue Asela Hettiarachchi, IP Wijerathne from the Sri Lanka Police, Tax Officer Prasad Munasinghe and representatives from Jayasinghe & Co, Chartered Accountants, Partner Devinda Mendis and Managers, Rachitha Priyankara and Sudarshana Prashad.
“This is a special initiative that recognises the trust and confidence our customers have placed in the company. It is our way of adding value because a laptop will become invaluable to young people, especially those aspiring to achieve ambitious educational goals.
The concept also encourages and motivates professionalism and excellence and goes hand-in-hand with our corporate responsibility endeavours to promote higher education” said Rouf.
The ‘Rewards for life’ offer of 100 laptops is one of several initiatives. More are in the pipeline to bring greater value to AIA customers. Winners will be informed in writing and the presentation of laptops will take place in due course.
