Unprecedented number of members joins ‘Women in Need’

Following the success of the ‘All for Love’ concert and its surrounding events, a record breaking number of supporters spontaneously elected to join the Women in Need recently. In just one night, the group’s number of volunteer members went from 0 to 500!

Women in Need is a unique society that stands up for victims of domestic abuse in Sri Lanka while drawing attention to an ever growing problem in our society. Women in Need held the ‘All for Love’ concert in order to collect funds to build a shelter for women and children.
