‘The Kumanator’ returns

A graphic designer by profession and a cook by birth, Sri Lankan born Kumar Pereira won the hearts of many food lovers during the third series of MasterChef Australia earlier this year.

The oldest contestant at age 62, he was branded ‘The Kumanator’ and has had a steady following of fans, some event going to the extremes of forming ‘Kumar from MasterChef Appreciation Society’ on Facebook, which has over 16,000 likes today.
