Swept up in charm

Being swept up in 70’s singing sensation Leo Sayer’s arms was definitely not on the cards yesterday and yet it happened! Age for the 63-year-old British singer-songwriter is certainly a mere number as he still exudes the flamboyance and exuberance that made him an international star in his heyday, when he won over the hearts of millions with his soulful and passionate ballads. In Sri Lanka to perform at a concert which will be held this evening, the showman had his audience in fits of laughter with his frank and witty comments at a press conference held at the Hilton yesterday.
