This month, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo presents its patrons with a variety of offers to make it a splendid September. Continuing its gastronomical journey around the world, ‘The Dining Room’ will be making a stop in Italy this month, as it lays out a delectable Italian dinner buffet from the 12th until 21st. The celebration of cultures extends to ‘The Lounge’, which will be serving a vibrant Asian High Tea throughout the month. The delightful high tea will feature both sweet and savoury treats like chicken won ton, Thai fish cakes and dragon rolls. An ideal occasion to catch up with friends and family, the Asian High Tea will take place daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The popular ‘Express Lunch’ will continue to be served at ‘Royal Thai’ and ‘Long Feng’, presenting busy executives an opportunity to step out to a scrumptious lunch with colleagues. The restaurants will be dishing out efficient four course, five star meals geared to the needs of the discerning businessperson. Long Feng’s expert Dim Sum chef Julie Duan introduces an array of specially created Bao and Siew Mai. These steamed, filled bun or bread-like items are a Chinese specialty with meat or vegetarian fillings of various flavours and textures.
The ‘Bubbly Brunch’ on the lake as the name implies, lays out a unique spread of food with a free flow of delicious bubbly and a scenic cruise along the Beira Lake aboard ‘8 degrees on the lake’. This special Sunday brunch will take place on 8 and 22 September from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The hotel’s luxury floating venue is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka and is available for private parties and events as well.
‘7 Degrees North’, the hotel’s trendy bar continues to offer its themed food and drinks for each day of the week.
