In the March issue of Architectural Digest, Sheryl Crow throws open the doors to her romantic, stunning Hollywood Hills estate. Her 11-acre, three-home property boasts a 1926 Spanish Colonial hacienda – her primary residence with her two sons – a 1909 Craftsman bungalow and a picturesque 19th century cottage.

Crow explains that she “grew up in Missouri, where you don’t really see architecture like this.” Well, a Missouri girl has done good. All you need to do is look at these amazing photos of Crow’s abode. Hey, who needs Lance Armstrong?

The culmination of this personal, hand-selected design aesthetic is distinctly Crow. From the lush landscape visible through the windows and doors to the tepee and swing set on the lawn, her estate serves both family and serenity. This feature gives a rare glimpse of a different side of Crow, and she’s right when she says “there are a lot of people who think of me as very straight… so I imagine this place will come as a surprise.”  Go to http://www.architecturaldigest.com to check out the online photo gallery of Crow’s crib.  (www.artistdirect.com)
