Salon Nayana relocates branch in K-Zone Ja-Ela

Nayana Karunaratne together with her team of hair care attendants recently celebrated the momentous opening of their new location at K-Zone Ja-ela, attended by officials of Salon Nayana, John Keells Properties and well-wishers. The newly-designed salon features expanded services including hair design, hair extensions, conditioning treatment and scalp massage. Officials present at the opening were Kanjana Godigamuwa – Senior Stylist, Nandana Samarawickrama – Finance Manager of Salon Nayana, Placida De Cruz – Manager of the K-Zone Salon, Romesh Jayewardenene – Head of Mall Operations and Rohan Pieris – Site Manager of K-Zone Ja-Ela. Salon Nayana originally opened in 1980 and is still growing with 10 outlets in attendance located in Bambalapitiya, World Trade Centre, Nugegoda, Kohuwela, Mt. Lavinia, Flower Rd. Colombo 7, Wattala, Seeduwa and Ja-Ela. They have evolved from their beginnings into a group of salons totally committed to their clients and hairdressing community.   Salon Nayana continues to make a conscious effort to be environmentally responsible with their products. “We choose to be as green as possible with the products we buy and what we use in the salon,” said Nayana Karunaratne – Owner of Salon Nayana/Image Consultants and Founder Member of SLAHAB. Nayana brings more than 30 years of experience as a colour specialist and hair designer to her salon. She is an active member of OMC and promotes and participates in several programs assisting up and coming hairdressers by educating them with the latest world trends in hair fashion including hands-on demonstrations and techniques on hair and beauty. Nayana Karunaratne, a hair dresser, beautician and trainer, has been a great asset to the personal care industry. She is the first Sri Lankan entrepreneur who ventured into business in India and has created a name all over India as one of the strongest hair and beauty personalities in the world.
