For the first time in the history of Sri Lankan entertainment SUN FM presents three chart topping artistes all on one stage, RIO featuring Artful Dodger and Guru Josh live in Colombo at the Nawam Mawatha Car Park, on the 23 July at 7 pm.

RIO, better known as Neal Antone or Tony T is famous for first for his 2008 chart topper ‘Shine On’ and also for ‘When the Sun Comes Down’. ‘Shine On’ became a huge radio and club anthem and climbed to the top 20 of official music charts in most European countries; and reached even higher spots in the Middle East and South Asia.

In May 2009 they released ‘After the Love’, a track with a catchy summer feel to it, which used a rhythmical structure out of the Pachanga.

This was a hit in Europe, and quickly caught on across the globe. This was followed by the release of ‘Serenade’ and the successful album ‘Shine On’ in 2010.

After an efficient time of writing and recording, Tony T succeeded in developing his typical reggae-house style.

This transformation of sound is especially reflected in his new singles ‘Hot Girl’, ‘Like I Love You’ and ‘Miss Sunshine’ which were released during the course of this year including RIO’s brand new hit ‘One More Night’.

Artful Dodger, a British R&B and UK garage band which hails from the city of Southampton, became famous through its 2-Stephits.

The band was also responsible for giving Craig David’s career a boost after he appeared on their #2 hit ‘Re-Rewind’ in December 1999.

The UK garage act comprises of MC Alistair and producer and DJ Dave Low. Guru Josh, also known as Paul Walden is part of the electronic band, the Guru Josh Project.

Guru Josh still holds the top spot for one of the biggest dance records this century thanks to ‘Infinity’. Tickets for RIO are available at the Hilton Lobby between 10:00am and 7:00pm.
