Learning new lessons

Ashani Dias, a student from Sangamitta Girls School in Galle, stands before the crowd in a green blazer and two shoulder length plaits. At first glance her presence seems innocuous but all that is dispelled by the confidence with which she presents her experience during a visit to the UK. She received this chance as part of the Global School Partnership (GSP) programme that has given dozens of students the chance to gain international exposure.
