Kumarika makes a pledge to promote natural living

Sri Lanka’s leading hair care brand Kumarika signed a pledge to promote natural living at a launch was held at Janakala Centre, Battaramulla as part of an initiative commenced in lieu of World Environmental Day on June 5.

The campaign aims to gather signatures from one million women across many towns island-wide to pledge their support towards natural living. The initial pledge was signed by Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Sumedha G. Jayasena and will be sent to towns across the country to collect signatures of women to support this campaign.  The launch was graced by leading Sri Lankan celebrities in their pledge to encourage and promote natural living. “Kumarika aims to promote and generate awareness about the benefits of living the natural, healthy way through this campaign,” explained Hemas Marketing Manager Derrick Anthony. “We will also give back to the environment by planting trees so as to embrace this cause.”
