Kiddies’ Halloween Camp on 30 Oct. at Cinnamon Lakeside

On 30 October, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s Kiddies’ Camp celebrates one year of delighting children.  The programme devised to provide children with an afternoon on ‘edu-tainment’, has grown into an eagerly anticipated event in children’s calendars. The Kiddies’ Camp crew has tricks and treats up their sleeves for their Campers.  Earls Court, the venue for Kiddies Halloween Camp, takes on a shroud of mystery complete with cobwebs, smoke, jack-o-lanterns and eerie music will add to the chill.

After being welcomed with a Witch’s Brew drink, Kiddies Campers could get their faces painted for that added Halloween spook. A costume parade and competition will take place later in the afternoon so children are advised to get creative with their costumes. The programme is always designed to maximise interactivity, making for a productive afternoon. A Halloween cookie-making craft session is the perfect excuse for the little campers to get their hands dirty. The hotel’s chefs will be on hand with their culinary skills to assist with the masterpieces in the making. Blindfolded and blind as a bat, the kids will then compete to pin the nose on the Halloween pumpkin. Everybody’s favourite Magician, Dinesh the Dynamic, will keep the kids fascinated with his wizardry and mystery. Magic balloons creatively molded into all shapes, colours and sizes never fail to keep the children spellbound. The tricks come laden with treats too. A feast of Halloween themed snacks with children’s tastes in mind will be served.  Plenty of gifts and prizes are awarded to winners and participants of competitions. Finally, a grand prize of a Tomahawk Bicycle is awarded to one lucky child courtesy of Tomahawk Bicycles. The winner may select from a range of bicycles made available. Kiddies’ Camp takes place from 3:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. at Earls Court.
