Lassana Flora gives Sri Lanka’s wedding industry a new and innovative boost with its bridal cum floral experience at its headquarters at 279 Nawala Road, Nawala. Titled ‘Lassana Moments’, this novel experience takes place from 09 a.m. to 10 p.m., from 11 – 18 August and is open to the public. “This ‘experience’, as we choose to call it, is easily the first of its kind in Sri Lanka and will bring together key players in Sri Lanka’s bridal, beauty and photography industries at the same venue. We’re all joining hands to share our experience and expertise with the walk-in public of Sri Lanka,” says Chairman of Lassana Flora Dr. Lasantha Malavige. A key feature is that all visitors will be able to speak to the professionals, discuss their requirements and find cost effective solutions which best suit their respective budgets. These free consultations by top professionals will help future brides and grooms to plan their dream wedding. Present at different days and times during this week will be top names such as Harris Wijesinghe, Michael Wijesuriya, Ramzi Rahaman, Ramani Fernando, Johann Peiris, Bernie Balasooriya, Premasiri Hewawasam and Dananjaya Bandara among several others. There will also be photographic companies such as Studio 3000 and Studio U. Further details are available on www.lassanaflora.com as well as on Facebook. There will be a raffle draw at the end of the week where the winner will be rewarded with a free wedding package consisting of flora decor by Lassana Flora, photography by Studio 3000 and dressing for the bride by Dananjaya Bandara. In addition to this, all confirmed bookings over Rs. 100,000 will win an overnight stay at Citrus Hotel, Hikkaduwa on B/B basis. “Lassana Flora has constantly been in the forefront of Sri Lanka’s bridal industry by setting trends and adding glamour. The company has always believed in offering its customers more than what they expect. We’re thus happy to offer the general public of Sri Lanka a free consultation of this nature. In fact, as one of the leading players in the industry we consider this our duty. Over the years, we have introduced several innovative wedding packages that suit customers’ different budgets and tastes. I believe it is this effort to offer customised packages that has set us apart and made us a household name in Sri Lanka,” Dr. Malavige added. Earlier this year Lassana Flora revolutionised Sri Lanka’s floral industry with the launch of its ‘Flowers and Gifts Catalogue 2013’ together with the introduction of free delivery in Colombo, Kandy and suburbs. Lassana Flora, the trendsetter in Sri Lanka’s floral industry, operates through branches in Nawala, the Kandy City Centre, Moratuwa and Negombo. It occupies the top slot as the only ISO 9001-2008 certified florist’s company in South Asia and the Gold Medal winner in the SME category at the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards 2012.
