Hemas Hospitals, a market leader in healthcare, obtained the highly esteemed Australian Council of Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) for their Thalawathugoda Hospital. The gold standard in healthcare confirms the hospital’s outstanding clinical outcomes as well as its commitment to maintaining high quality patient care through stringent adherence to processes and controls, on par with international standards, from the moment the patient enters hospital and until discharged. With this accreditation, all Hemas Hospitals are now internationally accredited with the Wattala and Galle ones being re-accredited after the four year cycle.
The top honour recognition is significant on two counts – first it reflects the hospital as being ‘best in class’; secondly, as Hemas Hospital Thalawathugoda is just over two years in operation and already in the spotlight for their advanced healthcare, uncompromising compliance to accredited processes and patient safety. Hemas Hospitals are the only multi-chain in Sri Lanka to have an international accreditation with ACHSI.
