Founded in 2013, Glitteray is the pioneer in the online jewellery space in Sri Lanka. Glitteray offers a range of silver and gold jewellery, including earrings, rings, pendants, bangles, and bracelets. The platform also offers coloured stone jewellery and a guest designer section that features designer pieces. Glitteray closely works with a team of craftsmen in their own facility and provides an after sales service for its customers.

The start-up designs and manufactures all products in-house. It allows you to pick and select jewellery from its online catalogue and either buy online or use cash on delivery option.

Glitteray lures new buyers with island wide cash on delivery options and easy exchange policy. “Consumers are far more comfortable buying jewellery online today, than a year back. I am confident about achieving over three times month-on-month growth this financial year end,” Rayhana Iyne, founder and CEO of Glitteray

Glitteray has launched its second phase by entering the 22kt gold segment to cater to growing demand. The Glitteray design team is adding contemporary gold products, designed and manufactured in-house at affordable prices by eliminating the middle man and absurd mark-ups. They also provide certificates for all their precious jewellery. The company competes with the brick and mortar traditional gold retailers in Colombo and will be a tight contender in this space, with innovation and a young team they are projecting massive growth.

Rayhana added: “Glitteray has expanded its network for island wide cash on delivery and first to introduce card on delivery for jewellery in Sri Lanka, where you can pay using a debit or credit card at the point of delivery. We are looking forward in providing 24 HR customer care service by adding a live chat feature, so that visitors can directly get in touch with their customer service executive for their design needs and other queries.”
