‘Fast & Furious 6’ now in theatres

Liberty Cinemas bring this month to theatres the much awaited action and adventure film, the ‘Fast & Furious 6’.

While the movie was released internationally on 24 May 2013, Universal Pictures’s ‘Fast & Furious 6’ will be screened in Sri Lanka at the Majestic Ultra and Arena Katugasthota from 31 May.

With Vin Diesel, Paul Waker, and Dwayne Johnson lead the return cast of all stars as the global franchise built on speed races to its next continent in the latest fast and furious movie, the film also features fan favorites Jornada Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris-’Ludacris’, and Elsa Pataky.

Building on the worldwide blockbuster success of Fast Five and taking the action, stunts and narrative to even greater heights, ‘Fast & Furious 6’ sees director Justin Lin back behind the camera for the fourth time. He is supported by longtime producers Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel, who welcome producer Clayton Townsend back to the series.

Being in development from February 2013, the ‘Fast & Furious 6’ which was filmed with a budget of US$ 160 million in Canary Islands, Glasgow and Los Angeles, hit the box office with US$ 275.5 million.
