Fabulous French food festival at Cinnamon Lakeside

In celebration of Bastille Day, Cinnamon Lakeside’s talented Executive Chef Martin Becquart has unveiled ‘Bon Appetit,’ the much-awaited gastronomic part of the French spring Festival, from 1 to 14 July. This year the theme is French Mediterranean cuisine and cinnamon Lakeside has invited Julien Martello, a distinguished French Chef from Marseille, the capital city of Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region, to create famous delicacies like mouth-watering sea bass with fennel, lamb stew and prawn Provencal style, ratatouille and socca (chick peas galette), pissaladiere (onion tart with anchovies) from Nice, grilled mackerel with virgin sauce, vegetables gratin in tian (earthenware dish), panisse (chickpea flour preparation), tapenade (black olive paste), delicious lemon tarts and Tropezienne cream bun. ‘Bon Appetit’ is on at the Dining Room restaurant, a venue celebrated in Colombo for its top-notch international cuisine.
