Colombo Food Festival draws multitudes of food-lovers

Colombo Food Festival, Sri Lanka’s largest outdoor food carnival which commenced on Sunday 5 June at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre, drew a multitude of food-lovers last weekend. 

The festival, which will continue every Sunday, will bring together a wide variety of food including organically grown produce, natural foods, fresh juices, snacks, fast foods, bakery products, confectionary and much more. 

The food festival is unique in terms of not being only a one-stop arena to enjoy a variety of food but is also a go-to place for family and friends to enjoy a fun-filled Sunday. Entertainment acts such as DJ music, live bands, open mic and acoustic performances, and a range of special activities for kids will also add colour to the event. 

Colombo Food Festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. come rain or shine every Sunday. Entrance will be free of charge, while smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited as it is a family-oriented event. For more information please contact 0766222917 / 0777608944.
