Baskin-Robbins ice cream, revelled the world over with more than 5,800 ice-cream parlours in over 30 countries is now expanding in Sri Lanka. Following the launch of the first Baskin-Robbins ice-cream parlour on Galle Road two years ago, proprietor Hashan Mohamed declared a second parlour open last week.
Located on R.A. De Mel Mawatha, the outlet with its eye-catching interior of hot pink and white with large murals of ice creams adorning the walls was besieged by eager customers looking to satisfy their sweet tooth on the day of the launch.
