By Tilak Palliyaguruge The Alliance française de Kandy, where language and culture meets, has served the Hill Capital for 46 years with tremendous zeal and devotion. AYA - Alliance Young Artists, which came into light in the year 2003, has created a beneficial and meaningful interaction in building bridges of understanding between young artists of various atmospheres. The annual AYA program organised by the Alliance Française de Kandy has offered a rare occasion to the young talents with limited creative opportunities to discover the wonderful horizon of art, its freedom, its discipline and its rewards. This year, the following students have been selected to function as a team for the AYA 2013 exhibition: Sajini Ishara Sirisena - Girls’ High School, Kandy; R.M.S.C.
