Artra magazine celebrates first year anniversary by recognising exemplary works of art in 2012/13

ARTRA Magazine is symbolic for more than what it was incepted a year ago. It has transformed into an imaginative space from a platform for artistic expression. It is now a creative journal where individuals explore and articulate the nature of Art; a common ground where a voice is given to different agendas of various artistic bodies and most importantly, a space where artists with different perspectives unite to showcase alternate identities to contemporary Sri Lankan artistry. The anniversary edition of the magazine is all about celebration. Celebrating those who have contributed to the magazine; sustaining of a unique space for artistic consciousness and most vitally, recognising artists who have excelled in their creation of exemplary works of Art.
