American Express sponsors Exhibition Sri Lankan Art 2011

Nations Trust Bank, American Express Cards has stepped forward this year to sponsor the “Exhibition- Sri Lankan Art 2011” organised by the George Keyt Foundation which will feature Sri Lanka’s Best contemporary artists, sculptors and painters from all over the island and will showcase to the art loving public the developments in contemporary art in Sri Lanka, especially within the last 12 months.

The exhibition began on 29 November and will continue to 4 December at the National Art Gallery’s East and West Galleries. A preview of the exhibition took place on 28 November at the National Art Gallery with the attendance of High Commissioner for Australia in Sri Lanka Kathy Klugman and her husband David Durrell as chief guests and many art lovers, supporters and well wishers.
