Shankar’s International Children’s Competition 2020 at Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre

The Shankar’s International Children’s Competition-2020 organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (formerly Indian Cultural Centre), High Commission of India, Colombo, will be held on Saturday, 23 November from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at SVCC, 16/2 Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7. Children from all over the island are welcome to participate in painting/drawing/writing competition.

The topic for essay writing/drawing/painting for the competitions will be “Earth is the only home we have, Treasure it”.

The Shankar’s International Children’s Competition 2020, in the categories of writing/ painting/ drawing, is open to children born on or after 1 January 2004. All the entries done by the children will be sent to New Delhi for the Shankar’s International Children’s Competition 2020.

Children who are interested in participating may register their names with the Centre (Tel. 011-2684698, Telefax 2684697, e-mail [email protected]) and are requested to come to SVCC at 9 a.m. on 23 November.
