Book reading session by Ashok Ferrey at Taj Samudra

A book reading session was hosted by Taj Samudra Colombo – Hotel Manager Pulkesin Mohan with author Ashok Ferrey recently at the Longdon Room. In view of the forthcoming elections, Ashok read passages from his satirical political novel ‘Serendipity’. He then read from his new book ‘The Unreadable Sky’ (to be released by Penguin in 2020) – a novel dealing with themes of grief and closure. Finally, he read a hilarious excerpt from his book of essays ‘Cut Pieces’ about the horrors of Sri Lankan traffic.
