Great teachers expect that all students will achieve and improve in the classroom. They should have proper lesson plans. They try to engage all students and do not allow few students to dominate. Great teachers are warm, accessible, enthusiastic and caring. Great teachers form strong relationships with their students and show that they care about them as people. Great teachers exhibit expertise in the subjects they are teaching. They are masters of their subject matter. Great teachers try to communicate with the parents of the students. Role of the teacher is a very important factor in education. They must have required educational qualifications and teaching skills. It is the duty of the authorities in charge of education to look into the following: Raise professional standards of teachers. Improve salaries and working conditions of teachers.
