Sunsilk’s paints Colombo purple with 24-hour Lockdown Party

Colombo rocked for 24 hours last weekend, when Sunsilk brought to life its new variant, Perfect Straight, in a 24-hour Lockdown Party, at the Convention Centre in Fort, the most fashionable party of the year which took the city by storm. Over 50 celebrities made their grand appearances at all hours of the day and night adding a splash of glamour, fashion, style, colour and the high life into Sri Lanka’s first ever 24-hour lock down party by a brand. From fashionistas to models, beauticians to hairdressers, film stars and teledrama personalities Colombo’s fashion and style icons and celebrities rocked the Convention Centre with their sheer elegance and fashionable presence, dazzling the crowds with their stunning entrances and moving down the hall to their celebrity niche with their partners or entourages in sweeping style. The Convention Centre turned a sea of purple as over 4,000 people rocked all day and night as the party tempo increased with guest performances by singing sensation and party icon Umaria and the sounds of live bands Flame and Audio Squad supported by a string of Sri Lanka’s top DJs such as Upul, Jay Vibes, Miss Flame and Azmath who kept the party rocking for 24 hours. Adding an international flavour to the weekend nonstop party was DJ Nuthiya from Malaysia whose techno treats kept up an upbeat vibe.
