Shippers’ Academy sets sail

The Shippers’ Academy of Colombo, a school of business for global commerce and logistics and the first of its kind in South Asia, was launched amidst great fanfare at the Ceylon Continental Hotel last week. The launch was well attended by many prominent shippers, Government officials and other industrialists, who hailed the establishment of the academy as a step in the right direction for the shipping industry of the country      – Pix by Upul Abayasekara
