The Rs. 3 billion Chinese-funded Performing Arts Theatre is getting set to be opened by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on 15 December.

A host of top Chinese dignitaries are expected to attend the occasion that will see a landmark musical performed by Sri Lankan artistes depicting the journey of the Fahian Buddhist priest on his ancient journey along the Silk Road by land to Sri Lanka.
