The award winning carrier Emirates Airline on Friday opened a dedicated Lounge at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with an investment of Rs. 200 million. Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Civil Aviation Minister Priyankara Jayaratne, UAE Ambassador in Sri Lanka Mahmood Mohammed Al-Mahmood, Emirates Airline President Tim Clark, Divisional Senior Vice President Airport Services Mohammed Mattar, and senior aviation sector officials were present at the opening of the lounge, the first to be set up at the BIA by an international airline.
