Blessed bathing rituals

The bathing ceremony of the statue of the Gayathri Amman Hindu God situated at the Sri Lankatheeswarar temple in Nuwera Eliya was conducted after 12 years amidst the presence of several devotees. The Sri Lankatheeswarar temple is the first and the foremost temple built for Gayathri Amman in Sri Lanka and the Shiva Lingham installed in this temple was brought from the holy river Narmada by Sri Sivabalayogi Maharaj – Pix by Waruna Wanniarachchi
