The 14th edition of Hotel Show Colombo 2019, one of the best-recognised industry expos, was officially launched at the BMICH from 12 to 14 November. The Chief Guest was Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Christian Religious Affairs John Amaratunga and Guest of Honour was Minor Hotels Chief Executive Officer and Minor International COO Dillip Rajakarier. It was organised by Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA), together with event partner CDC Events and supported by its sponsors, Government and Private sector establishments.
The expo features products, services, latest innovations, seminars with keynote speakers, knowledge sharing, discussions on forecasting trends, and celebrating the industry’s latest advancements over the three days.
The concurrent events which are spread out within the three days take centre stage with three main competitions; National Barista Championship, National Room Stylist Challenge and Bar
Champs by Pernod Ricard. In addition, there would be the Bocuse’d Or Sri Lanka. The Hotel
Show Master Class is another eagerly awaited feature of the event with exciting live sessions.
Ceylon Tea Masters Cup was completed prior to the expo.
For several years, the Hotel Show Colombo has been driving and inspiring change in the industry. The largest and most influential hospitality exhibition in the region is the essential meeting place for general managers, hoteliers, interior designers, F&B Managers, front office, housekeepers looking to access the products, information and inspiration to drive the industry forward.
