HNB Millennium Trophy Golf Tournament 2019

For the 11th consecutive year, HNB sponsored the Millennium Trophy Golf Tournament 2019, a leading event in the Sri Lankan golfing calendar. 

The event which was held at the Royal Colombo Golf Club recently attracted more than 240 golfers. 

Damith Wickramasinghe was crowned the overall champion in the Men's category with an aggregate net score of 138 over the two days, while Gihan Wickramasinghe emerged Runner-Up with a net score of 138 points as well. 

Sanjiv Vairavanthan was adjudged the top HNB customer and Tyronne Weerakody the Runner-Up.

The tourney was also the first to open up for junior players, with Kyla Perera crowned Winner of the Gold Division with 68 gross points and Taniya Balasuriya named Runner-Up with 76 gross points. 

HNB Managing Director/CEO Jonathan Alles and several other senior officials from the bank graced the awards ceremony which was held on 25 August.
