The Sri Lanka Air Force handed over a 16-bed Isolation Ward to Director Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe on Saturday. The ward, built in nine days, highlighted the urgency of the need placed on the Air Force to work around the clock to deliver the facility. The ward enables each patient to be kept in isolation and offer the best safety for both patient and medical practitioners. The facility was handed over by Air Cadre Udala Wijesinghe on behalf of the Air Force. More than 240 airmen worked around the clock to complete the project
